Because Hyllus are a tropical species, posting is only possible when temperatures are warm enough to post, on 2 consecutive evenings.
These are young Hyllus walckenaeri males which have been captive bred by us.
They left the nest on the 18/7/24
They are 12 mm +.
They are feeding very well on green bottle flies.

Hyllus species are a tropical species that are considered specialised, and are not recommended for novice keepers . They require a Bio-Active set up, with a heat mat and thermostat. They require a constant temperature between 27c-31c for females and 27-29c for males. 80% humidity. Daily misting recommend. A well ventilated, cross ventilated enclosure, of a minimum 15 x 15 x 30cm (See our Enclosures on the website)
