These are stunning young sub/adult, adult Phidippus otiosus 'Ocala' Florida males.
They have been captive bred by us.
They left the nest 4/25 & 5/25  from 2 different batches.
They are 10-12 mm
 and are feeding very well on green bottle flies.
We are selling them  randomly picked as thry are identical.
The males are black and orange with much longer front legs, and bulbous pedipalps as with all male jumpers.
otiosus 'Ocala' get their name from the region where they originate Ocala central Florida.
They are a good size Jumper, females reaching 15 mm +, and males 12 mm +
In appearance they are a very pretty Jumper, and in many ways look very alike to Hyllus diardi, but with much less demanding care.
As a Florida species, they prefer their environment not so wet, and do not appear to benefit from misting.
In a bio active set up, watering the base of the plants and lightly misting plant leaves is sufficient, although they are rarely seen drinking.
They are very agile as Juveniles, but as adults They are very laid back and very much enjoy interaction.
They are an easy to care for Jumper.
As Juveniles we would recommend a small enclosure, and upgrade to a bigger enclosure once bigger.
PLEASE remember to provide a bright white light directly above the enclosure for their well being.
