Gorgeous Phidippus Carneus (Females) 12 mm +
These are gorgeous Phidippus carneus young adult females.
(Pic shown is of a sub/adult female)
They are new comer to the UK hobby.
They have been captive bred by us, and are pure bred.
They left the nest 5/25 & 6/25
PLEASE NOTE jumpers have an average lifespan of 12-18 mths from their last and final moult.
They are 12 mm +
And feeding very well on house flies and small green bottle flies.
Carneus are a delightful species, with beautiful colouring and markings.
They originate from Mexico, and parts of the US.
Their care is much the same as Phidippus regius, although they prefer a slightly dryer environment.
They grow to a chunky size, some females reaching 15-20 mm.
An adorable Jumper, and very sweet,
not to be confused with Phidippus ardens or Phidippus Johnsoni, which also have a black stripe, carneus have prettier markings.
